how to use rcon from console

right i cant sign into rcon in the console while on the sever so how do i do it

i olny use these two commands . for kicking and banning i use Rcon tool..

guys. unless ur an admin ONLY use modern rcon

lol i have had rcon tool since having this game. its beast! ^^

kkchad or brainz right i still cant do it in game 4 some reason i put the pass word in and nothink happned

nothing does happen when you put the password in, but try changing maps when you first go on, nothing will happen. then login with the password (that you say does nothing), then try and change maps again, and it will work.

if i remmber correctly log onto rcon tool first.

than open your console and type: /rcon login (whatever your pass is)

a kick command is: /rcon kick (players name) this wont work if they have a space in their name hence why we put it in our name. if it ahs a space intheir name you must use rcon tool to do it.

well i have modern rcon but not rcon tool

yh modernrcon is the simple one... and its easy to handle
i personally prefer modern rcon
but rcon tool is good/ or better as well!
